Bridge 

Bridge is a 'grass roots' voluntary organisation that has worked for over 25years to provide a means of access to education, training, support, employment and volunteering opportunities to women in the Washington, Sunderland and Durham areas. 

We break down the barriers by providing a wide range of accredited and non-accredited courses in family friendly hours, offering an on site creche and by givine extra support within the classroom environment.

We welcome all women and to meet the needs of young women we have established a route through Bridge via our Bridging Out Project. Bridging out works exculsively with young mums or mums-to-be, to enable them to gain recognised qualifications.
